Camp Highlights
From the 26th July to 2nd August, we held our annual Summer Camp. This year we returned to Gilwell Park for the first time in 15 years, for our biggest camp on record, with 72 members of the 19th Hendon (3rd Mill Hill) Scouts and 3rd Mill Hill Guides enjoying a fantastic week.
We had a truly unforgettable week at camp. From the very first moment to the last campfire song, the energy, laughter, and spirit shown by every child was been nothing short of incredible, and so pleasing to see all of them with a smile on their faced sense of achievement after tackling their fears.
They threw themselves into every adventure from hiking, climbing, abseiling and raft building, to games, songs and s’mores with enthusiasm, courage, and teamwork. It’s been inspiring to watch them grow in confidence, form new friendships, and embrace every moment of camp life.
All of the young people, made memories that will stay with them for a lifetime.
