Who are Squirrels?
Squirrels are young people aged 4 to 6 who:
- Master new skills and try new things
- Have fun and go on adventures
- Make friends
- Are curious about the world around them
- Help others and make a difference, on their own doorstops and beyond
What is Squirrels about?
Squirrels is a fun place to learn about nature and complete fun new badges, get in touch with your creative side, and even camp under the stars. You’ll make awesome friends and work together to earn badges for all sorts of activities, like building shelters or spotting wildlife. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to learn new things and get a break from screens. If you love exploring and having a good time, Squirrel Scouts is definitely the place to be!

What do you do at Squirrels?
You’ll tell stories and play games. Get active and explore the outdoors. Become a brilliant builder and a super chef. There’s something for everyone – and that means that there’s something for you.
Can you earn badges?
Whilst in Squirrels, you can earn:
- 12 Activity Badges
- Four Challenge Awards
- a Top Award
- a Membership Award
- a Joining In Award
- a Moving On Award
